A Glass Act - For Kids!TM

Little Gather at The Corning Museum of Glass

Did you know that McDonald'sTM did not issue the first sports superstar collectable drinking glasses?

A glass artist from Ancient Rome did.

In A Glass Act - For Kids!, Suzanne White re-creates some of the funnier and bizarre stories about the history of glass. In a fun filled interactive story telling tour, the kids will get an appreciation of science, history, art and geography.

This is a high energy performance that includes costume changes, props, slides and interactive exercises. Whenever possible, the kids get to see finished sculptures and discuss the finer points of the creative process.

The performance is tailored for kids from the ages of 5 -12 years and can be given in English or French.

"Rumble, Melt and Cool!" is a special edition of 'A Glass Act - For Kids!' which is tailored for kids from the ages of 3 years and up and can be given in English or French.

"To call 'A Glass Act - for Kids!' a presentation would be an understatement. Suzanne's performance was dynamic and interactive. By combining story-telling techniques with slides and props, Suzanne quickly captured the imagination of the children and provided them with a simple way to remember exciting, new information. An important aspect of Suzanne's art talk is the confidence building stories and positive life lessons imbedded throughout the presentation."
