Long ago, when glass was more precious than gold and silver, it meant that only the richest most powerful people in the world could afford to make it and buy it. Dealing with the Kings, Pharaohs and Emperors was a tricky business as one poor glass artist found out....

Contemporary sculptor and performance artist, Suzanne D. White has created this special workshop for kids 8-12 years old, 'The trouble with Kings!' which is based on part of her 'A Glass Act - For Kids!' performance.

This interactive theatre workshop will include the re-creation of the story of the unfortunate glass artist and using theatrical techniques, and the kids will re-create these stories using movement and sounds.
