Bio, Suzanne White, Educational Shows

Suzanne was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, grew up in Montreal and is now living Ottawa. In the early 1990's she studied theatre in Ottawa and then in New York City. She develops educational shows and workshops for kids (ages 3-12) such as 'A Glass Act - for Kids!' and 'Rumble, Melt and Cool' which are performed complete with costume changes, props, interactive exercises, computer images and video. Theses shows have been performed at such venues like the Children's Museum at the Canadian Museum of Civilization, and Corning Museum of Glass, in Corning, New York.

She was an artist in residence at The School of Dance (2000-2009) and has created many bilingual (french/english) workshops in visual and the dramatic arts for Learning through the Arts and conducted them in schools across Ontario.

For the last two years she has created and performed character voices for live ballet and contemporary dance shows.

Suzanne does voice business applications for companies like XeroxTM , AeroplanTM and for energy companies in the U.S. , as well as character voices for World's Funniest Home VideosTM for Asian and European TV.

As a contemporary sculpture, she integrate glass, wood, metal, concrete and stone. Many of her pieces have been done on commission and can be found in collections in Canada, the U.S. and Denmark. Her work was featured in the Gallery section of Ottawa Life Magazine.
